FRITZ!DECT 200 – Service

Cannot register a FRITZ!DECT socket

Registration of the outlet switch, for example FRITZ!DECT 200, fails. After automatic configuration, the "DECT" LED flashes continuously and a DECT connection between FRITZ!Box and FRITZ!DECT cannot be established.

Note:The configuration procedure and notes on functions given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for your FRITZ!Box.

Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem persists.

1 FRITZ!Box model is not supported

Except for FRITZ!Box 7312 and 7412, all FRITZ!Box models with integrated DECT base stations and FRITZ!OS 5.50 or higher can be used with a FRITZ!DECT.

2 Maximum number has been reached

You can register a maximum of ten FRITZ!DECT devices (for example FRITZ!DECT 200) with the FRITZ!Box. If you already registered ten devices, then you cannot register any additional devices.

Note:Registering a FRITZ!DECT does not decrease the number of telephones, DECT repeaters, or radiator controls that can be registered.

  2. Click "Buttons and LEDs" in the "System" menu.
