Since updating FRITZ!OS, the smart home devices are missing from the FRITZ!Box user interface

Individual or all of your smart home devices (for example FRITZ!DECT 200 or Comet DECT) are no longer displayed under "All connected or registered home network devices" in the home network overview since the FRITZ!Box was restarted, for example after installing a FRITZ!OS update. The connection status "not connected" is displayed for the devices in question in the "Smart Home" menu.

1 Waiting until the connection is automatically established

Smart home devices such as FRITZ!DECT 200 and Comet DECT work according to the DECT ULE (Ultra Low Energy) standard. When this radio standard is used, smart home devices only communicate with the FRITZ!Box at greater intervals. When the FRITZ!Box is restarted, for example after updating FRITZ!OS, it may take up to 15 minutes or even up to 60 minutes during "vacation switching" for the connection to be automatically re-established.
You therefore do not have to manually register the smart home devices with the FRITZ!Box after a restart; instead, you only have to wait for them to connect automatically.
