FRITZ!Fon reports "Network error"
When you attempt to use an Internet service with your FRITZ!Fon (for example listening to Internet radio or podcasts), the message "Network error" is displayed on the telephone's display and playback fails.
1 Checking whether the web address is reachable
The web address entered in the FRITZ!Box user interface for the Internet service may be temporary or permanently unavailable:
- Check whether you can listen to Internet radio or podcasts with a different device or software (for example Windows Media Player). Enter the same web address in the device or software that you entered in the FRITZ!Box.
Important:Perform the test as close to the time the error occurred as possible in order to rule out that the Internet address is only temporarily not available.
- If playback also fails with the other device, contact the respective provider or use a different web address.
